Full Report

We began the quest by traveling to the famed Goat Dungeon. We hoped to use their ability to call upon the stories of other worlds to find a martial realm where I, Luz Cielo, could improve my abilities. While waiting for the spell to be cast, we discovered the terrifying capabilities of Ash when presented with a dragon chess set. Unfortunately, due to the boss of the dungeon being afflicted by a deadly disease, the spell went wrong, and we were cast into a story without guidance. We arrived in a village hidden in the mountains; unfortunately, it was not my village. We soon came to learn after much questioning that the locals were under the iron fist of a so-called brigand named the Thundering Rat, and his group of thugs were aptly named the Mountain Rat Gang. Before we could convince the locals of our good intentions and our capability of defeating the goons with ease, the bandits arrived! With quick haste, we drew our blades and took them down. I broke the surviving bandits' cores and we convinced them to change their ways.

With the info we received from the bandits, we set off towards the main camp. Unfortunately, my plan to use the local magistrate as a cover story was flawed, given they were the ones turning a blind eye to the Mountain Gang in the end. Soon, we engaged in a glorious battle! Showing prowess and might that would bring honor and glory upon our ancestors. As their leader emerged we were suddenly accosted by a young man who proceeded to take the head off of one of the bandits. He seemed to be under the impression that we were all bandits and set off to slay us.

Naturally, due to our superior martial experience and weaponry, we swiftly brought him to a standstill. I joke, he was stopped by the magic of the Boss Goat, who had also been dropped into the world through a fluke we could not hope to understand. We tied up this rogue martial artist and returned to the village to find a massacre, whilst killing the 2 we had left behind, the man had destroyed half of the village and slain most of its population. Before I could rid him of his head instead a small Kitsune stabbed him in the neck, ridding this world of his unsightly attitude. We were soon treated to an experience I will never forget; we were thrust forward in time before being implanted with memories of the years before.

This time the party and I were the followers of a man named Gurmey, a local bandit himself who bore a striking resemblance to the young child who had just slain the man moments… or, I suppose, years ago. Whilst quelling a rebellion, we encountered a strange demonic creature, following it to a camp where I discovered a man whose power could not be measured. Like a natural disaster made manifest, a bored God descended from the very heavens. After a discussion and a spar, using the divination abilities of Ash, we fixed the timeline by introducing Gurmey to the Great Heavenly Demon Cheonma... at the cost of me giving up the possibility of studying under the greatest martial artist I had ever set my sights on.

Once again we were thrust forward in time, experiencing years of training and laughter in a flash as we were transported into a war. After dispatching the opponents and witnessing the death of Gurmey, he himself appeared before us in spiritual form to return us to the real plane. His last wish of showing the past of the Heavenly Demon finally complete.
