GM Notes

- Tenoyōllōtl was an Altepetl (city-state of Eastern Landmass Civilisation) ruled by the Tlahtoāni (god-king) Tepēyōllōtl, the Lord of Beasts, or his other title, Le ba'alche' cuyos rugidos sacuden cimientos le lu'umo' or The beast whose roars shake the foundation of the earth.

- It was located in a swampy environment and is inspired by Tenochtitlan

- Local festivals involve a week of celebration for coming of age, during which young warriors face each other in death battles to appease the Weaver and uproot the weak. One hundred twelve young men would fight against the God King himself, with the 56 remaining crowned as worthy of being part of the Weavers family.

- Built on marshes with parts of the city completely submerged in swamp. Very common for villagers to travel about on boats and bridges.

- The center of the city is the temple that houses Tepēyōllōtl, and at its base, the arena where ceremonies were held.

- The 4 different corners of the center are different temples, each housing the 14 different elders that govern and aid the Tlahtoāni over different parts of the city; hunting, fishing, agriculture, and warriors.

- Disputes are solved through fights in the arena under the ever-watching eye of the Lord of Beasts.

-The god-king has a great distaste for breaking honor in a duel; it is said he once descended from his temple and delivered punishment to an Elder who had poisoned his opponent, a warrior challenging him for taking food away from the civilians. The god-king impaled the Elder on a pillar of stone, leaving his blood to re-sanctify the arena.

- Though not all members of Tenoyōllōtl were warriors, most civilians had a higher than baseline ability to fight. Many members of the city tamed swamp creatures aswell.
