"The mountain splits into a narrow ravine here, sheltered from the strong winds coming from the eastern shore. Though a very defensive location, the one path you are coming from serves as the only access point, and the only exit. A makeshift wall of rotten logs and rusted scraps serves as first line of defense, clearly put here some time ago and currently in state of disrepair. At its base, a handful of hard-working kobolds look up from a recently excavated ditch.

Following the locals further in, you pass through a wooden gate and between two partially crumbled watchtowers. The camp inside is a collection of small huts. Some of the kobolds look like they have been here for a couple of days now. There might be at least 40-50 scaled ones taking refuge here."

Following the events of The Vault Of Doom and the subsequent expansion of hostile serpentfolk, after the Watcher Exiles' Village was attacked. Izin-Ra and the tribe of Exiles decided to relocate to a more defensive location. This ravine was a long-abandoned site of pilgrimage for the kobolds of the distant past. Built around a huge sea drake nest, this place had been neglected by the more recent generations. Now only in the memory of some elders from the tribe, it is used in moments of need. Most recent, during the events of Shuffling Off This Mortal Coil.
