Born the youngest of his brood, Parsnip was always the runt of the litter and looked down upon, which meant he had to use guile and planning to get what he wanted. He learnt at a young age that learning the rules and exploiting them was a sure fire way to get what he wanted from those bigger and stronger than him. Never take a bet you can't win. A risk is only a risk if you don't know the odds. He's been known to gamble with other small humanoids, and always takes his wins and losses on the chin. After all, there is no fun in victory if there was never any risk... As long as the risk isn't too great.
