Ruenvida Wunda-Dra'aspir is a Draxie Sprite formerly living in the Halo, the affluent quarter of Cynosure, and now confined to La Plage, the humbler, middle-class district of that city.

A widow ever since her husband passed away, she has been raising their daughter, Tarantassia Wunda-Dra'aspir, all alone with little support. They are struggling to make the ends meet sometimes, and were even forced to sell their old mansion and move to La Plage.

On the northern edges of the Halo, where it is yet to become La Plage – even if its dazzling glamour grows tarnished – there is a collection of domes and spires nestled around and above a murmuring brook. This is Tarantassia's and Ruenvida's former abodeThe elegant architecture looks Elvenand the cluster is surrounded by a lush garden, confined by other adjacent buildings but sufficiently large to somewhat separate the manor from its immediate neighbours. Overall, there are bigger, more impressive residences, but when one takes into consideration that Draxies are much smaller than most other creatures, suddenly this place becomes a regal palace in comparison.

Ruenvida is a caring parent, aiming to make her little girl's life as pleasant as possible, and accommodating her interests wherever she can, though she might be sheltering her a bit too much. Despite financial struggles, she commissioned the artifical dragonfly wings for Tassie, a marvel of clockwork technology and runic magic which cost a pretty penny.

Ruenvida is worried that her daughter will fail to properly integrate into the Fey high society, especially since she is already a bit of an misfit, and their family is sometimes laughed at and whispered about behind closed doors.
