**Wyatt Earthhoof**
A grizzled centaur from out west a ways, keen for light armor and dual pistols, Wyatt is an older gentlemen at 58, but still has years in him left to learn and grow. Wyatt began his career as a run of the mill bandit, part of a larger band called the Plain Striders that ran roads in the old world, kidnapping, killing, and robbing, until Wyatt was shot and left for dead during a heist gone wrong.
Abandoned by his brothers, he was found and taken in by a Minotaur named William, who was a preacher of Ma'at in a small, non descript community in the plains. William knew who he was but, rather than turning him over to the sheriff, offered him a new chance at life working for the church. Wyatt, feeling lost and left behind, accepted, and became a preacher in training under William. For 20 years he was a part of the small but close nit community and came to love and respect them, and helped guide them along a path of truth and justice, until one day several of his old gang members wandered into town looking for trouble.
Wyatt helped send them off when they recognized him and he explained why he was there. His gang members left, and Wyatt thought everything was fine. That night however, he awoke to find the town in flames as his gang came back, shooting, robbing, and killing while calling out that he had betrayed the band and needed to pay. Wyatt reluctantly took up his guns and fought in the defense of the town, slaying his previous brothers. in the chaos, WIlliam was shot and killed, along with many other important pillars of the community. Wyatt himself slayed the majority of his old band, and when the fighting was over was the last one standing.
The remains of the town turned their anger on him for their losses, blaming him for the gang's actions and the towns ruin, as well as the loss of their loved ones. Wyatt left, feeling like there was nothing left for him, blaming himself and vowing not to bring his tragedy on anyone else. Hearing of the New World, he signed on to go, seeking solitude and redemption for his sins.
