Vaelindra Cielo Lafley Maple Aznyss Theras and Akashwere at the pug when we saw a man and a horse enter. Elvira chased the horse out of the pug with a broom. We should have taken that as our clue that this horse was up to no good, but we couldn't leave it alone. We helped the man take food and drink back to the stables. While there he presented it to the horse who threw a tantrum demanding better food, almost destroying the stables and scaring all the other animals left there. Soon after the horse took off into First Landing and realizing what a disaster just got unleashed on the town we decided to chase after him.
Turns out the horses name is Biryong and he is awakened. We stopped by at the Pug first as Elvira seemed to have a history with him. She suggested we check the brewery and the butcher. Our first stop was the butcher.
We entered the butcher only to find an upset owner who pointed us to the back. Turns out there's some sort of dimensional portal in the butchers shop and we arrived in a jungle where we were attacked by a dinosaur. We were able to swiftly dispatch it when Biryong claimed it as his and ran off back to First Landing after eating it.
Next we followed him to the brewery where it was under attack by some clockwork robots. We discovered them out of control on our last quest to Crucible 2 and we're unaware that someone had brought schematics for them back to First Landing. Luckily we knew their weakness is electricity and swiftly dispatched them as well. They informed us Biryong was in the basement.
After following him down there he manifested us through his sheer will into a cottage in the middle of winter. A winter hag attacked us while we were in it and following his example we began to concentrate on manipulating our own reality as an assistance to help us defeat her. We were able to clear the room of its chill, clean the hazardous floors, and burn her with our attacks all by simply manifesting our will into exsistance.
Despite having the temperament of a literal toddler Biryong was actually quite helpful in helping us learn to manifest things to help us. I don't think this was the training I was expecting, but it was surprisingly helpful in my persuits to remaster my fire. I hope to someday see him again, hopefully outside of civilization.
