Harold 'Hal' Sorofield

Hal grew up as a sheep farmer in Hillside, trading wool and weaving cloth whenever necessary. However, the family business went bankrupt over time, so he and his seven other siblings had to choose different ways forward. With some of his siblings reaching success elsewhere, he found himself stranded. Not quite sure where to go next, he ended up doing odd jobs to leverage his strength and hoping to stumble into something he is truly good at.

Hal is a relatively tall and bulbous man with a small head, oval face, and a round nose. He wears a massive woolen cardigan, suspenders, and heavy boots. Carries a blunt woodcutter's maul and a thick walking cane with him at all times. And the shovel. Don't forget the shovel.
