The 9M14 Malyutka is a Soviet anti-tank guided missile (ATGM). It is man-portable, has a range of 3,000 metres, and can penetrate all but the heaviest of armour with its HEAT warhead. However, the missile must be manually steered to its objective by a joystick (MCLOS), which requires a great deal of training, and is also somewhat slow. The Malyutka was introduced to Oceanyka by the Soviet intervention and is a very sought-after weapon, capable of penetrating even cutting-edge western MBTs.

Guerrilla Guns - Soviet Small Arms (CW)

Throughout the Cold War, Soviet small arms have mostly been used by insurgents and guerrillas in wars of national liberation, employing asymmetrical tactics and strategies against much greater western powers. While the first world's tactics revolve around airstrikes, armour and artillery support, eastern-aligned irregular forces approach using stealth and deception, striking until they're close enough that enemy artillery becomes too dangerous to their own side.

At Short Range or below, this weapon's damage rolls are maximised.
