The Interal Investigation Service is an organisation dedicated to monitoring the Federal Government's ministerial departments, agencies, dependencies and other organs in search of irregularities, inefficiencies, corruption, embezzlement or treason. For this purpose, the IIS employs a wide network of informants and undercover agents, planted within every branch of the Oceanykan Federal Government. Within the machinery of the State, this is the one agency everyone absolutely despises, earning their agents a very disaffectionate nickname: "nosies".
