The Canon de 37 mm Modèle 1925 is a French 37mm anti-air gun designed for use by the country's naval warships. Sailors had a lot to say about this wonderful weapon: it was a breech-loading semi-automatic cannon in an era of autocannons, leaving French warships practically disarmed against medium-range aerial threats. The Modele 1925 did not last very long, but it did find some use as an improvised tank cannon or anti-tank gun.
