Aircraft stored within a warship's hangars, deck or helicopter pads. Only aircraft carriers, equipped with a runway and/or ramps, can deploy fixed-wing aircraft. Helicopters, on the other hand, are much more flexible and can be deployed even from ad-hoc landing pads.
