Methrotrexate is a chemotherapy agent used to treat cancer. It has been available since the end of World War II and, though it comes with a variety of very nasty side-effects, it is successful in treating multiple cancers. Methrotrexate can be taken orally or by injection and, at least in Oceanyka, is typically sold in whole-treatment prescriptions (as access to clinics is very limited). It is not recommended to take other medications alongside Methrotrexate as unforeseen side-effects could emerge.
