Axolotic Tank

The Axolotic Tank, named after the Mexican Axolotl (renowned for its regenerative capabilities), is one of the mid-1960's marvels of medicine; it consists of an extremely nutrient-rich solution which contains a thin strand of inactive, genetically modified "universal STEM cells". Axolotic tanks are used to treat those who have been Amputated, as once a limb stump is put into the tank and properly sealed, the organic material will reconstitute its own genetic code to match that of the amputee, attack itself to the stump and begin to grow into a new, fully functional limb. This process takes about 1 week. It will not have the same strength as before, and the patient must take some time to regain movement (as repairing neural pathways is perhaps harder than the flesh itself), but their mobility will be restored in due. Axolotic tank technology is considered the bleeding-edge of modern medicine, on par with other marvels such as the Microfission Cell or NC-FAL Artificial Intelligence.
