Built for the personal guards of high-ranking Ferozen Warlords, it features a long, counterweighted haft ending in a heavy, square-faced head of dense iron, balanced by a vicious armour-piercing beak on the reverse side. It is designed to shatter and pierce plate rather than cut through it, channelling all its weight into a concentrated impact capable of crushing steel and bone alike. Against the Headhunters’ master-crafted plate armour, the Guardian Maul provided at the very least a fighting chance, allowing disciplined guardsmen to break through even the most formidable defence with a single well-placed blow.
