Exterminations are an attack against a horde, pack or mass of creatures which have become somewhat of a pest. These contracts are the bread and butter of the frontier, often commissioned by landowners or mining companies to clear out infestations that threaten production. While a low-level job might involve clearing oversized rats from a grain silo, higher-tier contracts demand the mass culling of great beasts that, for lesser adventurers, could constitute a Hunt instead.
An Anomalous Extermination is a variant exclusively offered to Secret Society Trackers, where hordes of a particular Cryptid 🐲 must be culled down before their numbers can become a threat to human settlement.
