Blood is a liquid organ derived from living animals. It has a number of uses depending on the creature it was harvested from. For example, animal blood is used in some dishes such as blood sausages, blood tofu or saksang. Human blood is useful in the medical field for transfusions, provided the blood is free of disease and compatible with the patient.

While blood isn't typically considered in a creature's loot table, most living creatures possess it, and the players may choose to harvest it.

Other more exotic types of blood may be useful for ritual purposes or for anomalous research.

It seems to be completely free of contaminants, disease, and hyper-compatible with any human body, making it an excellent option for a transfusion. Additionally, it doesn't seem to go bad. Cryptid researchers and shady doctors would pay a significant sum of money for it.

Blood from a regular human's circulatory system, though it hasn't been checked for contaminants or disease. Considering health conditions in Oceanyka, you'll probably need more than you think to make a clean blood bag, as well as a dose of anti-coagulants.
