The Mongolian People's Republic is a Soviet satellite state in the historical region of Outer Mongolia. It is currently led by General Secretary Yumjaagiin Tsedenbal, a Mongolian military officer currently serving as head of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party, and de facto, leader of the country.
