Anubis

The protector of the dead who is also called Xolotl and many other names. It receives the parted souls and guides them thru Mictlan. As the dog it embodies, it is a loyal companion of anyone who asks for its help and of the regents of Mictlan. In life it offers patronage to the lost, the deformed, the sick, those of twin souls and to any monster who prays to it. In death Anubis is the hand that caresses you goodbye.
