God's Garden

Island

Despite the expansion of civilization to many lands, this part of the world has remained unexplored by humanoids. Its dangerous and unapproachable surroundings, have made humanoids believe that it’s simply not meant for mortals to go there, giving it its name "God's Garden". Before and after its name requisition, many attempts to go there were made. None has succeeded, and few have returned. Those who try to sail there, find themselves losing their vessels to the countless sharp reefs and rocks. The swirling currents are way too strong to properly navigate, and gigantic sea creatures often attack the vessels or anyone who is thrown at the sea. Attempts of teleporting there simply fail without proper explanation, and magic seems to stop functioning when you get too close. To further add onto the mystery, sailors who didn't get too close and managed to return, report sights of ruined building in its southwestern shores.

Geography

A large whirlpool that endlessly spins is located at the east of the island. From the distance, a volcanic mountain stand in the middle of the island, often fuming with smoke, while lush, gigantic forests surround it.

Trivia

A phrase saying "Moving into God's Garden" has become common, implying the impossible.

A few extremely wealthy individuals have occasionally offered insane amounts of wealth to those who'd manage to find a way to colonize the island. Others have used such methods to doom clueless people to their death, sending them to where none has gone before.
