On rare occasions, children were conceived between species that should not be possible. This is the result of divine intervention and by many is considered a miracle. When that happens, the child that is born, is blessed with genes that cultivate and attract magic. From a young age, they develop powerful magical capabilities that make them stand out. Such individuals naturally become people that greatly influence the world around them. However, it comes with a cost. Their powers keep growing until one day when they suddenly disappear. Together with the sudden loss of their powers, their body rapidly ages after that point. Due to such radical change, many of them are driven mad, end their lives prematurely or disappear.
