Backstory

Where did your character grow up? What place do they call "home" now? (could be the same or different.) [75 words max]

Dathro was born and raised in The Crimson Kingdom where he joined the military at 14 years old.

Who raised your character and how? What are these people doing now? [75 words max]

He was raised by his parents Norn (father) and Gili (mother). He hasn't seen them since he left home and suspects them to have died of old age if not some other means.

How did your attribute scores affect your character? [175 words max]

He has always been a large intimidating figure and has learned that striking fear into his enemies often the easiest way to gain an edge in battle. 

What made your character obtain the class they have now? [75 words max]

At twenty years of age he led a raid on a newly discovered vampire coven that had been killing his fellow soldiers. He was banished by his leaders for leading an attack without permission, but secretly new they feared him climbing through the ranks and replacing them. Oromne, however, was pleased with his contribution and blessed him with power. Dathro accepted his exile and left home to find fame or fortune elsewhere. 

What your character doing in recent years before the campaign's start? [75 words max]

Dathro spent the next thirty years as a mercenary and would join any army or adventure that was willing to pay him. 

What motivated your character to leave their previous lifestyle and become adventurers? [120 words max]

He left his mercenary life and returned home for the first time in decades for reasons he cannot explain. He simply felt that he had to follow his fellow Dragonborn into the dungeons.

Which people are important for your character? [75 words max]

The ones he cares most about are his fellow soldiers. He barely remembers anyone from his early days, but made his closest friends in the last few years fighting alongside a Kobold named Squints and a Human woman named Lisaria. Both encouraged him to leave the mercenary life and pursue the call he was feeling.

He is not smart and often has terrible solutions to problems, but he is fiercely loyal to those he fights with.

He regrets never returning home to challenge the ones who banished him from his homeland.

Dathro has created many enemies on the battlefield, but is especially hated among vampires.
