The Syroks are a bipedal, avian species which originated on the jungle planet mIn'Du. Known for their dozens of eyes and vaunted intelligence, Syroks are well-known across the Federation. Most Syrok colonies are found in the orbit of mIn'Du, but some offshoots of the Badacz sect have established settlements in other Federation territories. Syroks have a controversial reputation--while recognized for their ever-evolving technological advancements and intellectual networks, they experience stigma and distrust, particularly from Aq' Torpaklari societies. Syrok leaders are committed to restoring the reputation of their species, and facilitate collaborations with scholarly institutions, research projects, cultural organizations, and industry leaders across galaxies, while also seeking an outsized representation in Federation politics and administration.
