The Mokomokos are a bipedal reptilian species originating from the Aq' Torpaklari System. Mated triads experience breeding cycles once every century, laying a clutch of 40-50 eggs per cycle. While medical advancements have made it possible for greater numbers of spawn to survive to maturity, it is still relatively rare for more than a handful of offspring from a single clutch to do so. Indeed, while Mokomokos have a naturally long lifespan--the oldest recorded Mokai, Ársarhechu, died at age 514--only a small percentage of the species survive past their second century.
