A collective term for the roughly dozen kingdoms that line the northern shores of the Poriya region, each ruled by a powerful dragon. While some of the dragon-kings choose to personally handle the day-to-day rule of their land, most of them delegate the more mundane tasks to human stewards.
Wars are frequent between the kingdoms - not for land or gold, but over the people that live there. Religions are banned in the dragon kingdoms, instead each dragon requires their people worship them as a god, and this faith is considered the most valuable commodity for a dragon of such grandeur.
Each kingdom has different standards for military and mercantile ships, though most tend to favour large warships with heavy infantry and artillery.
