As a child, Odren was sailing on a merchant vessel owned by his parents, when they were attacked by The Azure Zenith who mistook them for a hostile warship. His parents and the rest of the crew were slaughtered by order of the captain, an act that triggered the mutiny against him.
Odren was since taken in by the crew, and he now harbours a deep resentment for all militaries, and the The Radiant Empire navy in particular.
