A region of northern Cambria currently part of Gomeret. "King" Ryons, was a local pretender to King Pellinore .
In 501, King Nanteleod conquered the area, and made Maelgwn his king and vassal.
After the death of King Nanteleod in 508 the country was seized by King Ryons, who held it until his death in 513.
After King Ryons' death it is ruled by King Galehodin, a vassal of King Maelgwn of Gomeret.
