As an avid warrior amongst this nomadic tribe of red dragonborn, Jura sought new horizons within the Emris Adventuring Guild. Finding his home amongst the various adventurer gladiators battling for prize and fame within the guild fighting pits, Jura excelled within the School of the Phoenix for his combat talent. Despite his built physique and propensity for gladiatorial bouts, Jura was rather reserved and respectful of his guild peers, finding a lifelong friend in the Firbolg Olond Galakin.
