Head of the local Sand Scribes chapter of The Scriptorium within the city of Shariz, Brother Sala was instrumental in founding the Solace Atheneum, a grand library of never-before-seen magnitude. Working directly with his brothers within The Scriptorium, Brother Sala has committed himself to meticulously transcribing the known history of the continent of Osira. Sala's devotion to knowledge was noted as fanatical even by the most devoted of the Sand Scribes who worked with him. It was Sala's vision to understand all there is to the world, which he coveted. Recording the thoughts, places, and people of Osira, Sala was instrumental in founding the Solace Atheneum, which he did with the aid of Emr1s. Unbeknownst to many of the Sand Scribes was that Brother Sala and a small group of order monks secretly sought the pursuit of the darkest forms of arcane knowledge - necromancy. This ill-fated pursuit would ultimately lead to his demise after attempting to bargain with the Demon lord, Balthazar the Blighted, who only used him to serve his own goals in collecting the Infernal Elements, which Sala possessed knowledge of. Once his usefulness ended, Sala was brutally butchered and left for dead in cursed Noble House Aefir where the demon lord took up temporary residence.
