Spreading across The Vale of Everwinter were the frozen Forests of Frostfall, home to an abundant ecosystem of arctic flora and fauna despite the otherwise harsh conditions within the forests. Habit to diverse creatures such as caribou, giant elk, giant owl, winter wolf, arctic hare, ice wyvern, and walrus on its rocky shoreline, the Forests of Frostfall were home to all great manner of native creatures which had adapted to its cold environment. The forests were also inhabited by Frost Giants, Frost Goliaths, druids, and more, which had adapted to weather the icy conditions over time. Within the forest was a maze of dense evergreen trees shrouded in canopies of snow, which cooled much of the undergrowth to an icy freeze.
