Tribe of the Seal

The Tribe of The Seal was one of four ancient tribes of Skraelingmen which lived within the arctic expanses of The Vale of Everwinter. Each tribe expressed a unique relationship to various wild creatures found within the Forests of Frostfall, which they hunted and slowly formed bonds with over many decades. The Seal Tribe was a settled tribe of skilled fishermen and spear hunters which hunt the native Seal and Walrus that bask on the icy shorelines of the Forests of Frostfall, along with fishing within the dashing arctic rivers beyond. Tribesmen within the Seal Tribe were known to wear the blubbery pelts of the seals and walrus they hunted, making sure to use every part of their preys body in order to survive the harsh winters of The Vale of Everwinter. In recent decades, the Tribe of The Seal was hunted to extinction by increasingly hostile Rhemoraz and Ice Wyvern which have been forced to scour the shorelines in search of food, oftentimes coming into fierce competition for food.
