Younger brother to Dwalin Ironspine, Ruthford is the excitable and ingenious mind behind the currency system of The Iron Bank. Through Ruthford, vaults and central currency were created through his ideation as talented artificer. Taking care of the technical cares of The Iron Bank, his brother, Dwalin Ironspine, took over the business side and ran the public facing sector of the bank which communicated heavily with the nobility of Avalon whom stored their vast treasure in its safes. Erratic and eccentric, Ruthford stands in stark contrast to his otherwise bitter and calculating brother Dwalin Ironspine.
