Sareph

Born as an orphan on the streets of Shariz, Sareph had to fend for himself at a young age, fighting amongst local thieves over scraps of food and drops of water. On a fateful day, Reiner stumbled upon a cache of thrown away cabbages and vegetables where he met Reiner, another orphan scavenging for the food. The two would quickly become inseparable as they made a blood-oath to one another on that night to watch out for each others back no matter the cost, as society had cast them out, they only had each other to survive. Growing up, the pair learned hard but foundational lessons to the true nature of the world, and soon after caught the eye of Sultan Hakim Atis after he witnessed the pair fend off five Sunguards after being caught stealing from a local merchant. Admired by their ability, the Sultan offered them a position in the Jannisary Order if they were to adhere with a strict oath to the order. Accepting the Sultans offer, Sareph underwent a strict regimen to prepare for duty as the Sultans finest and vowed to never show his face in service to the crown.
