Galor, the first layer of The Nine Hells, is a realm of endless hunger and insatiable appetite. The air is thick with the putrid stench of rotting flesh and the sounds of feasting demons echoes throughout the halls. The landscape is a labyrinth of cavernous halls, dripping with putrid grease and filth. The walls are lined with the remains of countless gluttons who were punished for their excesses in life. The demons who dwell in Galor are grotesque, bloated monstrosities with multiple mouths and stomachs, gorging themselves on anything they can find. They are the very embodiment of gluttony, and they delight in the torment and consumption of the damned souls who are unlucky enough to find themselves in Galor. The souls who are condemned to Galor are forced to live out eternity in a cycle of endless feasting and starvation. They are constantly ravaged by hunger, yet no matter how much they eat, they are never satisfied. The only respite from their suffering comes when the demons decide to hunt them down and devour them themselves, an event which is celebrated by the demon inhabitants with frenzied glee. Galor is a place of eternal suffering, where the greedy and the self-indulgent are forced to pay for their sins in life through an eternity of gluttonous torment.
