Tao is a young and enthusiastic tortle, barely out of his teenage years, with a friendly and cheerful disposition. His light green skin is accented by golden scales that shimmer in the light. His large eyes, framed by thick brows, are a warm, deep brown color. He wears a simple blue and white robe, tied at the waist with a thin cord. As an apprentice at The Golden Pagoda, Tao is tasked with assisting Master Ling in the art of tea-making, from selecting the finest herbs and spices to carefully measuring and blending them together. However, he has a tendency to be a bit ditzy and scatterbrained, causing him to make mistakes and get into trouble, leaving him picking up manual tasks such as the leave retrieval. Despite his clumsiness, Tao is always eager to learn and improve. He has a genuine passion for tea-making and enjoys experimenting with new blends and flavors. He often spends his free time exploring the city, searching for new and exotic ingredients to add to his tea. Tao's clumsy nature often gets him into trouble, and he can be a bit of a liability at times. However, his infectious enthusiasm and dedication to the art of tea-making make him a valuable asset to The Golden Pagoda.
