Edward Clearwood is a man of the sea, with weathered skin and calloused hands from years spent working the waters as a fisherman. He stands tall and broad-shouldered, with short brown hair that's often tied neatly in a twine knot. His sharp eyes are the color of the ocean, and he carries himself with a calm confidence born of years spent navigating treacherous seas. Despite his rough exterior, Edward has a kind heart and a gentle nature, always willing to lend a hand to those in need.
After leaving home and traveling the Y’azi Peninsula, Edward found his way to Shiboto Village, where he learned the art of archery and basic martial arts from the wayward Unknown. He quickly proved to be a natural with the bow, and spent countless hours practicing his aim and tracking game through the forests and hills surrounding the village. With his newfound skills, he returned to the City of Hojo to reunite with his family and brother Jarek Clearwood.
Edward frequents the Bearded Lung Inn and The Golden Pagoda, where he enjoys a warm cup of tea and friendly conversation. He can also be found at the The Lightning Lotus Dojo, where he competes in archery competitions and often takes home the prize for his skill with a bow. As a kid, Edward and Jarek saved a foreign man named Chance from drowning, and the three have been close friends ever since. When he's not practicing his archery or fishing the seas, Edward can often be found at the Thunderbolt Tavern, enjoying a cold sake and swapping stories with the other patrons.
