The Kitty Krew takes the wand to Bella's friend, Avery the Mermaid. She lives in the fountain in the town square. Caticorn is reluctant to show anybody else the wand, but Avery and Bella convince her that the mermaids want to help. Snowball creates kitty-sized scuba suits for everyone (except for Bella who can swim and breathe underwater already with her magical kitty powers). They follow Avery into the fountain and through magical underwater tunnels until they come to the home of the mermaids at Rainbow Rocks. They find a place deep in the water and bury the wand inside of a box with a special lock made by Snowball. Together, the kitties cover up the hole and disguise it so it will be a very hard wand to find.
The next day, Litten hears stories from his human, Ace Kattum. Ace usually has a pretty active imagination when he plays at Dewberry Park, creating all sorts of fanciful animal adventures. But this time, he was certain that it was a real wooly rhinoceros that he saw!
