Ziggurat of Yibb-Tstll

9cd2337f-d1ad-468e-a0b0-2f4c1bb70170.jpg50 miles southwest of Seregon, in the Moogse Bergen mountains, is the ancient ruins of the city of Uzuldaroum. Here stands the Ziggurat of Yibb-Tstll, The Patient One. This towering structure was once home to sacred shrines dedicated to the city’s pantheon of gods. However, when the cult of Yibb-Tstll took hold, these shrines were desecrated and repurposed to serve the dark deity.

The ziggurat became the heart of the cult, a place where endless sacrifices were made to appease Yibb-Tstll's insatiable hunger. But the relentless demand for lives drained Uzuldaroum of its people—farmers, tradespeople, and soldiers were offered up in such numbers that the city could no longer sustain itself. Within a single generation, the city crumbled under the weight of its own bloodlust, leaving the ziggurat as a grim monument to a civilization that devoured itself in the name of its god.

Deep within the Ziggurat of Yibb-Tstll, concealed by layers of ancient stone and forgotten rituals, lies a treasure of immeasurable value—a collection known as the Codex of the Patient One. These are no ordinary texts; they are a series of intricately bound tomes and scrolls, each written in a language lost to time, inked with the blood of those sacrificed to Yibb-Tstll. The codices contain forbidden knowledge, dark incantations, forbidden star theurgy spells (supposedly seven of them), and the secrets of the universe as understood by the ancient priests of Uzuldaroum.

The most prized volume among them is the Codex of Endless Night, a book said to describe the true nature of Yibb-Tstll and the means by which he was summoned to the world. The codex is bound in a leathery material of unknown origin, with pages that seem to shift and move, as if alive. It is believed that anyone who reads its contents in full would gain unparalleled power but would also risk eternal servitude to Yibb-Tstll.

Surrounding the codices are various artifacts used in the ancient rituals—ornate sacrificial knives, golden chalices encrusted with dark gemstones, and strange, eldritch idols. These items, though valuable in their own right, are tainted with the dark energies of the ziggurat and are said to curse anyone who dares to remove them.

The Codex of the Patient One is more than just a treasure; it is a dangerous repository of power and knowledge, waiting for the one who dares to unlock its secrets. However, those who seek to claim them must first navigate the deadly traps, evade the watchful spirits of the sacrificed, and resist the overwhelming pull of Yibb-Tstll’s lingering influence.
