Blade of Asura

The Blade of Asura is a weapon of awe-inspiring craftsmanship, forged in the ancient days of the Order of the Ascendant Flame. Its blade, made of polished silver-steel, gleams with a mirror-like clarity, reflecting the surroundings in brilliant detail. Along its length, delicate engravings depict rising flames—a symbol of Asura’s sacred fire. These flames twist and climb toward the blade’s tip, representing the light of creation and rebirth piercing through darkness and illusion. When drawn, the blade emits a warm, radiant glow that intensifies in the presence of deception, corruption, or malevolence.

The crossguard is shaped like a flame with branching tendrils, evoking Asura’s eternal fire and protection. Below the crossguard, the hilt is wrapped in fine white leather, stitched with red thread to signify the burning heart of Asura’s devotion. At the pommel, a large, luminous opal is set, shimmering faintly with an inner warmth. This gem is believed to contain a fragment of Ashara, the Heart of the Ascendant, a revered saint of Asura whose spirit blesses the blade with a divine connection to the goddess.
