Blade of Sultana Khamara

Blade of Sultana Khamara

Description: Named after Sultana Khamara, the warrior queen who led the decisive campaign against the rakshasa on the Island of Moog. this finely crafted elven longsword has an elegant curved blade and a hilt wrapped in fine gold filigree. The blade glows with a soft, bluish light when near rakshasa.

Magical Properties:

  • Glow of the Betrayed: The blade emits a faint blue light when within 60 feet of a rakshasa, growing brighter the closer it gets, alerting its wielder to the fiend’s presence.
  • Vengeance of the Sultana: The sword deals an additional 1d6 radiant damage against fiends. Against a rakshasa, it deals an extra 1d10 radiant damage, the blade burning with holy energy.
  • Khamara's Will: Once per day, the wielder can call upon Khamara’s Will to cast Protection from Evil and Good, specifically targeting fiends, for 1 hour.

Attunement: The elven blade requires attunement by a creature who is proficient in longswords. The wielder must spend one hour under the night sky, communing with the ancient spirits of the Sultanas of Sahar, to fully unlock the sword’s power.

Lore: These blades were forged by the master elven smiths of the Sultanate of Sahar, each imbued with magic to drive out the rakshasa who once plagued the land. Passed down through generations of Sultanas, each of the five swords carries the name and legacy of a powerful warrior-princess who fought to protect Sahar from fiendish corruption.
