The Journey of the Sentinels of Seregon So Far:
The Sentinels have carved a bloody path through shadows and lies, revealing themselves as a force of cunning as much as might.
Victories So Far:
Scarlet Rest Inn: The Sentinels’ clash with the Grung was more than a warm-up; it was a clear declaration of intent. The recovery of the domination statue already marks them as chosen or cursed by forces not yet fully understood.
Undead Behir: Their slaying of this arcane monstrosity animated by the Grung shaman added a mythic badge to their name. The locals whisper tales of it already: "The Sentinels who slew a thunder-lizard of death with fire in their eyes."
The Slumbering Dragon: Rather than strike blindly, the Sentinels embedded themselves, gathering intelligence and peeling back the layers of deception. Their friendship with Miriel Vexx may yet become a key alliance—her motivations and loyalties unclear, but her knowledge deep.
The Temple Showdown: The Crucible of Asura was meant to be their grave, but instead, they turned it into a battlefield. The weretiger guards fell, their feral blood staining the flagstones.
Marij Lang, the temple’s dark heart, met her end in a ferocious battle. And The Flamebearer, Hendrika Meijer, returned from a banishment spell, only to be torn down in a crescendo of eldritch fury. A fight that will be spoken of in hushed tones by surviving cultists as The Sundering of the Courtyard.
Current State of the Cult
The Crucible is broken, but not beaten. The leadership has crumbled, but its mission endures....The cult now acts out of desperation, which makes them far more dangerous.
