A world where a few rifts in the early to late middle ages led to a world dominated by vampires and sorcerers. In the aftermath of a nuclear world, an elite ruling class of vampiric sorcerers rose to prominence.
Several millennia later, after losing an intergalactic war the earth was a husk of it's former glory. A wasteland dotted with technological remnants in which survival is a daily struggle. With most of the old vampires dead or missing, humanity is slowly claiming back what's left of the habitable regions of the planet.
