Mirror of Dragonmorph

The Mirror of Dragonmorph was once an ornate mundane mirror, but after centuries within the hoard of an ancient Gold Dragon, its structure was altered by constant exposure to draconic magic. Its glass face appeared as a deep ruby with a surface that never fully settled, its facets slowly shifting as if something moved beneath them. When brought near a Dragon in a shapeshifted form, the stone reflected the creature’s true body instead of its disguise, presenting the original form as though seen in a clear mirror.

Traces of the dragon’s magic remained within the Mirror of Dragonmorph, and in rare circumstances, could be harnessed. Those who attuned to it sometimes developed minor draconic traits, such as sharpened senses or a faint elemental affinity; however, these effects were inconsistent and varied from bearer to bearer.
