Once a thriving Rootstone circle, this site collapsed generations ago after an attempt to forcibly amplify the Current. The stones cracked. The forest burned without flame. The ley flow inverted briefly and never fully recovered.
The Rootstone Keepers maintain the ruin exactly as it is. No repairs. No rituals beyond mourning.
Young Keepers are brought here to understand restraint.
Why it matters:
The Ring proves the Rootstone Current is not infinitely forgiving. It is alive, not benevolent.
