Private Music is the tenth studio album by American alternative metal band Deftones. It was released on August 22, 2025, through Reprise and Warner Records. It was preceded by two singles, "My Mind Is a Mountain" and "Milk of the Madonna".
The album marks Deftones’ first full-length release since Ohms and follows several years of touring and songwriting. Recording reportedly took place in Los Angeles, California, with producer Nick Raskulinecz, who previously worked with the band on Diamond Eyes and Koi No Yokan. The band described the sessions as focused on intimacy and textural layering—hence the title Private Music.
