The Drow from The Rapid Snail, named Ryldax is waiting at the guild house when the group return. He gives Irdien Talvaeth a gift from his employer Thanor'Thal, no strings attached. It's a magical armor made up of spiders. Irdien accepts and shows it to the group. Sirona Boyd is horrified, but Labrat happily tries out the magical swapping effect.
Sirona is upset over the death of the two men at the Brewery, and Adrian Maulitz wants to apologies. After being comforted by Labrat, Adrian and Sirona have a considerable argument resulting in Sirona bursting out in tears apologizing to him. In the meantime, Irdien and Jak o' the Wisp keep playing their game, and Irdien asks Jak to tell her about his involvement with The Lich King. Jak doesn't reveal any specifics but tells her that he is stuck in his grasp. Trying to avoid more questions Jak escapes to the barracks but is meat by the stench of sewage sheets. He asks for an air freshener. Sirona makes on in the laboratory while Adrian opens the windows. When Sirona returns, she asks Jak to exchange the sheets but he doges out to help Irdien move Capper upstairs. Irdien then proceeds in telling Jak that she wants to help him break free from the Litch King. Jak doesn't know how to react and starts playing music as a response. Meanwhile, Sirona and Adrian are washing the dirty sheet in the upstairs bathroom, and at the sound of music, they take the chance to try and teach Sirona to dance. Jak hears the dancing upstairs and cheerfully keeps on playing a few songs.
Finally, Jak falls asleep exhausted on the stairs. Sirona and Adrian put him to bed. They have a small talk before also turning in for the night. Irdien and Labrat bring up Capper to his bed.
In the morning the group plan out the day. They hope to be able to leave Eldolan. As they prepare Jak's shoes are delivered, and the troubadour triumphantly showcases the new fancy footwear.
They leave for The Mission of Lost Hope where Sirona donates the sapphire gemstone to help them take care of the people living in the Warrens. As a token of gratitude, she gets two vials of Holy tears from the patron of Eldolan. Jak also marks the place with the symbol of The Prince of Shadows, to ward of evil and encourage other servants of his to donate here.
Next, they head on to the small gate, separating the commons from the grounds. To make sure Jak isn't recognized by the guards Sirona and Adrian but bandaged around his head.
When they arrive at Garados Kessmir's shop its maned by LaredesLardis. Kessemir isn't here, and he doesn't know when he will be back. The group decides to hand over at the information they've gathered. Lardis is impressed and pays the reward, but it's not enough to convict Arlissa Thent. The group takes a vote on what to do next. Adrian and Irdien want to investigate the guy in the harbor while Sirona and Labrat wish to go straight to Arlissa. Jak has the final vote and puts it on Arlissa. The group sells some jewels and buys some healing potions with Adrian's last gem (The black from The Three) before leaving.
At The Lamplight Guild, they managed to book an appointment with Arlissa for 18.00 the same day, which is in about 8 hours. Irdien achieves to uncover that Arlissa is sleeping in her office upstairs, but the group decides not to break-in and instead come back at 18. As they leave to make some errands the Unknown at the guild pranks them by magically putting "Kick Me" -sign on their backs. They all notice and Adrian asks him firmly to remove it, which the gnome dose.
When they get back at 18, they are lead to the office by a magical Sprite.
Arlissa is very annoyed and shows several similar notes on her desk that all seem to implicate her in different kinds of schemes. As the group persist in asking her questions, her patience ends, and she attacks.
