Overview

Early Life

Born in Hoffledorn, a large city in the Diovani homeland, Dakash was orphaned at a young age, only 12 years old. Raised by his uncle Josef for a few years, the relationship was strained. Dakash felt neglected and uncared for, leading him to seek solace elsewhere. Soon, he found himself drawn into the city's dark underbelly, the underworld. Initially, he started small, working as a lookout and errand boy. As he grew older, his role escalated, and by his teens, he was even involved in cat burglaries.

Despite his involvement in the criminal world, Dakash yearned for a normal life. He sought a way out, a chance to escape the shadows. This led him to an apprenticeship as a blacksmith, as fire was rediscovered and the world learned the old arts again, a promising profession that offered a new path and the promise of an honest living. It was during this time that he met Rizelda, a young noblewoman. Their connection blossomed into love, and Dakash saw a future with her, a future free from his criminal past. Eager to leave his old life behind, he married Rizelda. Their happiness was short-lived, however.

Choices and Experience

Elements from the underworld resurfaced led by Avlea, his former boss, pressuring Dakash to exploit his connection with Rizelda's family for their own criminal gains. Refusing to compromise his newfound life and endanger his wife, Dakash faced threats directed not only at himself but also at Rizelda. This forced him to make a heart-wrenching decision. Fearing for their safety and unable to fight back effectively, Dakash fled Hoffledorn, leaving Rizelda and their unborn child behind. This choice continues to haunt him, carrying the weight of his past and the fear of returning, both to the clutches of the underworld and to face Rizelda's family.

For the past two years, Dakash has called Edge Capital home. Here, he works as a trader, a far cry from his underworld days. However, the desire to return to his family and the regret of abandoning them push him to take unnecessary risks. He seeks wealth, perhaps a subconscious goal, to eventually confront his past and reunite with his loved ones.

Short Term Goals: Unknown, survival.

Lorn Terms Goals: Gain enough power or riches to return to his family, but perhaps he doesn't fully acknowledge this goal yet.

Relationships

Uncle Josef: Dislike lingers between Dakash and his uncle. He feels his upbringing by Josef was inadequate and lacked the love and support he craved.

Dario (Former Friend and Assositate): A year older, Dario took Dakash under his wing in Hoffledorn's underworld. They rose through the ranks together, but their paths diverged when Dario left to establish his own branch elsewhere. Leaving Dakash behind within the organization ultimately prompted his desire to leave that world behind.

Avela (Former Boss): Three years older than Dakash, Avela was a manipulative influence throughout their time together. Building him up with compliments she was always able to get him to do more than he intended, take more risks, and break his own boundaries. As Dario left, Avela's behavior aidded fueling his desire to escape. When he fled, her true malicious nature emerged as she used every trick in the book to push him and threaten his new family.

Meeting Thrain
Dakash and Thrain were in a dodgy gambling den, as the Veiled Fist (or perhaps a different Obsidian Fangs city unit...) burged into the gambling den.

Dakash got the heads up on the raid and helped Thrain evade the watch.

Personality Traits

Loyal and valuing family above all, Dakash grapples with insecurity and naivety, making him vulnerable to manipulation.

Despite his past, he strives for a good life and hopes to one day reunite with his family.
