Saber Wolffang was found unconscious and weak by members of an isolated village in the Alnusiyan Valley. After being nursed back to health, he has no memory of his past. He also learned of the village's secret mission to protect a supposedly extinct breed of Dire Wolves known as Black Sun Dire Wolves. Their black fur masks their presence in the darkest of nights

that happen?
One day while helping adolescent pups of the dire wolves with their hunting training, he discovered his spellcasting ability to communicate with animals, as well as some healing magic, and this led to connecting with nature. On another training day, a pup was being hunted by a bear. In the heat of the moment, Saber Wild Shaped into a fully grown Lunar dire wolf (cosmetically)

beginning of play?
Leading a team of fellow Druids in the village to carefully research their powers and the responsibility that comes with them. During such time, Saber appears to have a natural talent for it. But secretly, yet slowly, he is starting to remember things, albeit fragmented and clouded.

Edea Keanala: Chief of the Umbral Shepherds. One of the wisest people in the village. Patient and open-minded.
Gaelin and Shalia Keanala: Gaelin is the son of Chief Edea. He is the prime candidate to be the future leader of the tribe. Gaelin works well with others, takes after his mother's patience and open-mindedness, and has talent as a Druid. Shalia is Gaelin's wife and the village's best hunter. She also helps the dire wolf pups learn how to hunt and defend themselves.

Lyra, the Elven Ranger, aided in rescuing Saber from capture by a crew of poachers. In the aftermath, she was sworn to the secrecy of their village's existence and thanked her for her assistance. They parted ways amicably, as she offered aid should they need it one day.
