Oves thoughts 4

Back at camp, lots of talk. Ove find water, lady followed to find grass. Ove doesn't eat grass. Meat and water fills belly. Ove hear bork, big doggy? Ove investigate. One big dog, very angry and 5 small dogs, very cute. Weird dagger guy using daggers finally. WOLF IS ELF. Elf is dead :( There blight people here, we burn blight people in Karvosti. Barbarians spotted? Im in danger? Ove not injured , ove stands guard.

After the fight with Malrogan, Sekiro felt very exhausted, while maintaining stuff in his tent, suddenly he fell asleep and slept well enough to miss some action outside.

The french lady

Bartolom was incredibly rude and he was punched, and then i pushed him in the water. Arrogant lil shit. I think Argasto is with me on this.

I will do it again if tempted.

Another battle ensued in the distance. A hungerwolf (Keri-Las) and a pack of jakaar attacking Belun, Ludo, Lestra. We slayed the wolf only for it to be an elf wearing an iron pact bracelet. It seems Ludo and Belun know something and are acting shifty as a baguette.

This caravan is full of shady people.
Slice wanted the iron pact bracelet, but I will fight to keep it and return it to the iron pact.

Ludo told us :

Pathfinders- were hired by Gorak and Alahara

Gorak wanted a filthy ancient verdigris copper crown. crown merged with the skull.

Returned and lived like kings, people started dying from the expidition. turning blightborn etc.

hungerwolf - Perhaps was hunting them?

One evening everyone held the crown and skull. sooo they will all be dead.

They essentially days away from turning. both very blightstricken.

Punched slice and Bartolom again.

Argasto knows and we decide to try to make haste to the Twilight monastery.

We made it only a bit, then ran into a strange storm.

Chronicle of the Copper Crown

In-game date: 3rd Andonia (Wildling, Wither) Year 21

Bartolom the moment we came back started bitching about his sun stone. Féra-Lindt (Jen) punched him in the face and made him fall to the ground. We all dressed him down verbally because of his self-righteous and important attitude which royally pissed him off, but we refused to return the sun stone too him because we don't feel he deserves or is capable of using it appropriately and keeping it safe, we also did not tell him that Rogen (Andy)was the one who has it currently. (And is attuned to it)

The others mention feeling hungry and ask if there is any more stew left over, I start reheating the cooling food and Féra-Lindt (Jen) went out to help collect a few more ingredients to improve it, she does so, and I show her some ways to best utilise them, so they go as far as possible. We feed the camp, and I take a bowl over to Slice (Rob) to thank him properly for helping to save my life, Féra-Lindt (Jen) follows quickly and offers a herbal cure which I use to aid in Slice (Rob)healing process.  A conversation between the three continues and Slice (Rob) mentions something to Toruma (Freya) about her bloodlust, which I deny casually and pat Slice (Rob)on the cheek and walk away. During this time, I also thank Féra-Lindt (Jen) sincerely for the herbal cures which saved my life.

I started to head towards my tent so that I could get some sleep, but just as I started getting ready we all heard a loud howl coming from the distance, knowing this could mean nothing good I exited my tent once again with slight frustration and saw that everyone else was looking in the direction of the sound. Looking around we see that those who check for the path's safety Belun, Ludo and Lestra were the only ones missing and in concern was started heading towards the source of the noise. I called out the loyal 'loyal' guards and asked if they were actually going to do anything to aid us as many of us were still very wounded from the previous battle and very reluctantly a couple of them started walking towards the sound (cowards).

We ran towards the source of the howling, I told Argasto to keep an eye on my tent as Sprite was resting inside, which he agreed to do. We arrived at a scene where there were five Jakaar and one Hunger Wolf which were surrounding Belun, Ludo and Lestra. Expecting another dangerous fight I hid behind a tree, and planned to transform if needed into a creature to hopefully distract and entice some of the pack to chase me and give the others an opportunity to pick them off or escape to safety as needed, but before I had the opportunity, Ove Laethand (Bertil), Rogen (Andy) and Slice (Rob) the destroyed the Hunger Wolf, upon her death she returned to her true form, that of an elven female and the rest of her pack fled in fear and grief. Seeing this made me feel sick as I knew how easily that could have been me, but the group started to investigate her corpse and Féra-Lindt (Jen) and Slice (Rob) discovered an old iron bracelet around her wrist, Slice (Rob) very much wanted to obtain it for himself but Féra-Lindt (Jen) was more hesitant as she wanted to find more about the item just in case. I felt this strange sense of remorse seeing someone that reminded them in ways of myself having her body picked after being killed so recently, even though this was not the first time I had witnessed something like this, something just did not feel right. Why was she attacking the three from our caravan in the first place? Why was she here? Féra-Lindt (Jen) had mentioned something about both the types of creatures she had portrayed herself as and her pack were not commonly found in these areas but instead in the Davokar, so what was she doing here...Something didn't add up.

When Slice (Rob) mentioned he would just take her arm to reach the bracelet if he needed to, that was enough. I went over and insisted he did not do so. He did not seem to understand the reason for me to care about not desecrating her corpse, but to me the thought doing so was almost enough to make me growl, she was a pack leader, most likely protecting her own and her territory, she fell, yes, but to deal more damage to her now was insulting. Fortunately for Slice (Rob), he backed off. Féra-Lindt (Jen) did take the bracelet off the woman but both she and Ove Laethand (Bertil) aided me in taking her away from her death spot and a short distance into the trees, I was not sure of what her personal rituals would be, but I felt that a shallow grave within the snow so that should her pack wish to return and partake in the final service her body could offer to them as a final meal then they should have that choice. Once she was buried, I released a howl as a signal to the pack of mourning of one of them...and in some ways, my own people before getting up to leave. Féra-Lindt (Jen) made a comment about it being a pretty good imitation and I acknowledged quietly, finding masking, and pretending harder with the more words I was speaking. I left and went back towards the caravan.

Unknown to me as I had started walking back to camp Féra-Lindt (Jen) and Slice (Rob) has started to interrogate Ludo and Belun as they had appeared shiftier than I had realised. It didn't take too long once we had arrived back to camp for them to increase their volume in order to get the attention of myself and the others around the caravan, once Féra-Lindt (Jen) caught me attention I nodded to her and started focusing my attention on the two she indicated Belun and Ludo once again. They started informing us of a previous adventure they had been on, during which time one of their companions had wanted an old rusted crown and that was all, letting everyone else take whatever loot they wanted for themselves. Once they had arrived back at Thistle Hold at one point each of their party at some point physically touched the crown itself, and not long afterwards their compatriots started to transform into various abominations or died. Scared, the two fled and joined this caravan. Féra-Lindt (Jen) forced up the sleeve on Ludo and it was clear that he was corrupted and within a few days he would likely turn into an abomination of some sort, but Belun was even worse and has even less time before his life as he knows it is over. There was discussion about simply killing them. Féra-Lindt (Jen) and Slice (Rob) in particular seemed for this plan at first, Rogen (Andy) seemed less inclined and wants to try to find a way to save and help them. I feel uncertain, if there is a way for them to not also have to die, I think that would be a good thing, however if it comes down to it, I will not risk the safety of others or myself for their sakes. I asked both Belun and Ludo once more if they knew the elven woman we had killed for their and Lestra's sakes, but they assured me they didn't. In an attempt at a compromise, I bound both of them to one of the caravans.

I was going to head over to Argasto to inform him but was encouraged over by the sound of Bartolom's bitching, something about "witches" and then a rather loud thump. As I arrived I saw him sprawled on the floor, and became apparent soon that Féra-Lindt (Jen) had once again punched him in the face. I let everyone know what I had done with Ludo and Belun and we were attempting to figure out what we could possibly do to help them. Lestra came over and informed us she knew about corruption and abominations and from what she knew their only hope would be to get them to a monetary before the corruptions takes them over and turns them into abominations. I asked Argasto what he wanted to do, as the leader of this caravan troop and he suggested continuing to travel through the night. I recommended that anyone who was hurt or needed to sleep; specifying those of us who had been involved in battle, who were hurt or exhausted should get some sleep and the rest, meaning the loyal 'loyal' guards that hadn't done anything all day once again, should stay up and keep watch as we travelled and with that I went to join Sprites body and get some rest. Féra-Lindt (Jen) on her way away from us punched Slice (Rob) in the face after warning him not to fuck with her, she didn't seem to have caused him much damage, but in truth I think she was holding back. Slice (Rob) did not seem overly bothered but let her go and I figured that she very much needed to rest and in truth, I could understand her as I was feeling at the end of my own rope.

Once back in my tent I curled up around Sprite, humming my lullaby to him as I had several times in the past when his spirit had been set adrift from his body for some time and fortunately, I soon fell asleep. A few hours in I awoke groggily to the sounds of a raging storm causing our travel to halt once again, but it didn't seem to be any particular danger immediately at least so I continued soothing both myself and Sprite with the lullaby once more allowing myself to fall back to sleep, thankful for my tail and blanket providing additional warmth in this chilly night.
