A Suytäme is a political entity ruled by a Suy, Suylu, Suylem or Suylaah. Its status is typically similar to a tribal chiefdom.
The power of a Suytäme is concentrated in it's leader and their children. Succession is usually handled usually by the oldest children fighting to death, but some use other methods.
- Suy: Male leader
- Suylu: Female or neutral leader
- Suylem: Heir of a Suylym that hasn't went through the ascension ceremony.
- Suylaah: a rare title when several people rule a Suylym with equal power.
